LAWRENCE, Mass., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- LocalTel Yellow Pages, the largest publisher of individual community directories in New England, today announced recent management and operations enhancements that position the company to better serve its advertisers and consumers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
LocalTel's management team welcomes the addition of three seasoned Yellow Pages executives: Stephen J. Galligan, CEO; Ken Teal, Vice President of Operations; and Donald C. Flanders, Regional Sales Director, LocalTel North.
"This has been an important year for LocalTel-new ownership, new management, new physical location and a new online presence," said CEO Galligan. "We are very excited about bringing our headquarters back to New England, where we belong-close to our advertisers and the communities we serve."
LocalTel is a leader in independent Yellow Pages advertising, promoting the sale of advertisements in smaller, community-specific books. Compared with larger regional directories, LocalTel offers advertisers lower rates and higher returns on their advertising dollars. LocalTel customers are able to target their advertising spending in just the towns their business serves.
"Our most recent forecast shows that Yellow Pages continues to be a growth industry," said Charles Laughlin, senior vice president and managing editor, The Kelsey Group, and program director, The Kelsey Report(R). "Much of the current growth is driven by the independent sector, which is comprised primarily by entrepreneurial regional publishers like LocalTel."
LocalTel recently moved its headquarters operations from Florida back to New England, enabling the company to effectively service its advertisers and the New England communities in which it publishes. The company's new corporate office is located in the Riverwalk Business Center in Lawrence, Massachusetts. LocalTel also has regional offices in Waltham and Weymouth, Massachusetts.
"We are very pleased to welcome LocalTel to Lawrence and Riverwalk," said Sal Lupoli, owner and developer, Riverwalk Partners LLC. "We believe LocalTel has selected an ideal location for conveniently serving its customers throughout New England."
"Riverwalk is part of the old American Woolen Mill complex that serves as a catalyst for the revitalization of Lawrence," explained LocalTel's Galligan. "LocalTel is pleased to become part of the Lawrence and Merrimack Valley business community."
In addition to its new management team and new corporate headquarters, LocalTel recently unveiled a new Web site (http://www.localtel.com/) featuring detailed information about the publisher's advertising products and services, testimonials from LocalTel advertisers, and a comprehensive listing of the communities LocalTel serves.
