Inter-Tel Strategic Solutions Engineer Rick Ringel to Present at Communications Developer Conference
Inter-Tel Strategic Solutions Engineer Rick Ringel to Present at Communications Developer Conference

By: PR Newswire
May. 8, 2007 01:55 PM

TEMPE, Ariz., May 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Inter-Tel, Incorporated , a leading provider of voice and converged communications for businesses, has announced that Rick Ringel, Inter-Tel's Strategic Solutions Engineer, will speak at Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC) upcoming Communications Developer Conference, May 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, California. Ringel will present on the topic of "Evolving Collaboration into Service Oriented Architecture" on May 17 at 1:30 p.m. The conference is a leading event for developers of IP communications technologies.

Ringel will share Inter-Tel's perspective on the concept of IP-powered collaboration tools such as Web conferencing, document sharing and remote support, evolving into a suite of business process applications that reside within a customer's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. Such integration is designed to enable customers to potentially link communications with other processes -- for example, billing and inventory management -- to help businesses improve productivity and efficiency.

"We believe the concept of Service Oriented Architecture ('SOA') is gaining interest among businesses that recognize its potential as a valuable use of technology to maintain a competitive edge," notes Jeff Ford, chief technology officer for Inter-Tel. "Rick's presentation will be particularly germane for the IP developer community, which is at the forefront of creating the next generation of devices and applications that we believe will drive adoption for SOA."

According to Rich Tehrani, TMC president, Ringel's presentation will bring a much-needed perspective to the Communications Developer Conference.

"Inter-Tel has been highly regarded for developing advanced technology that serves tangible business needs," remarks Tehrani. "We expect that our audience will find Rick's presentation useful in helping them understand how customers evaluate IP communications to address real-world business challenges."
