Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced it has been selected by Monaco

seamless communication. It is an enhanced IP-based TETRA solution that is
highly flexible and scalable to integrate voice, messaging and mobile
applications on a single network. Motorola will provide implementation and
support services for the Dimetra IP network
Motorola is the main contractor of the project, responsible for the
delivery of a complete turnkey solution, including network and coverage
planning, site installation and commissioning to enable Monaco State to
quickly obtain and exploit the operational benefits of their technology
investment. In addition Motorola will provide maintenance and support after
completion of the system. Motorola will also be responsible for the
programming and installation of TETRA radios including the new MTM800

vehicles.
Commenting on the deployment, M. Raoul Viora, Director of the Monaco
telecommunication regulation institution, DCCT (Direction du Controle, des

ways to improve the country's emergency and administration services and are
confident that investing in high performance communications network is an
effective way of achieving this. We're striving to reach the very highest
standards of quality and reliability and believe that Motorola will help us
to accomplish this."
"Monaco will benefit greatly from its investment in an IP-based TETRA
network," says John Gherghetta, corporate vice president and general manager,
Motorola Networks & Enterprise, EMEA. "This network will enable Monaco's
emergency services to achieve new levels of integration and collaboration,
which will only improve the quality and effectiveness of the services they
already deliver."
Motorola is committed to innovation on the TETRA platform including the
creation of applications and solutions to enable users to realize the
benefits of Dimetra IP's comprehensive integrated voice and data capability.
Motorola is a leading innovator in the TETRA community including the
