Jeffrey Hilbert, the company's former president, chief executive officer and co-founder, will remain on the board and with the company in the role of executive vice president of Development.

Garcia brings over 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry. As vice president of Marketing for Silicon Systems/Texas Instruments Storage Products, he led the development of Silicon Systems' merger and acquisitions/integration strategy, product planning, business development and partnership strategy, culminating in the acquisition of Silicon Systems by Texas Instruments. He then led and executed the integration of product, customer and organizational strategies for Texas Instruments Storage Products Group. During his 13 year tenure, he set the vision and strategy for Marketing and business development efforts to drive growth transitions from $50 million to greater than $1 billion.
Most recently, he served as president and CEO of u-Nav Microelectronics, a venture-backed fabless GPS semiconductor company. In this role, he developed a new entity from a Finland research and development operation to a global semiconductor company that delivered the world's first fully-featured GPS semiconductor device with RF and digital signal processing on a single CMOS monolithic device. Previous roles include technical and management positions at Plessey Semiconductors and Hughes Aircraft Company.
Garcia holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico.
