Twenty Year Old Office Furniture Entrepreneur Takes Over Former Herman Miller 327,000 sq. ft. Atlanta-area Facility

BizChair.com has sold chairs to Harvard, Yale, the Pentagon and 'American Idol'

KENNESAW, Ga., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- In the latest major step for an entrepreneur just out of his teens, Sean Belnick's e-commerce company BizChair.com has announced it will become the majority tenant of Herman Miller's former Atlanta-area facility located in Canton, GA, occupying more than 225,000 square feet of the 327,000 sq. ft. building with the option to expand into the additional space. BizChair.com's two facilities now total over 325,000 sq. ft.

"We're taking over the space to increase our office space and warehouse capacity," said BizChair.com founder Sean Belnick. "It's an attractive corporate campus environment that will allow us ample room to grow, both in the warehouse and in the new offices."

BizChair.com plans to double its call center and IT department while adding additional accounting and other administrative staff and managers. The new headquarters will have more than 16,000 sq. ft. of office space. BizChair.com went online in 2001, operated solely by Belnick with advice from his stepfather Gary Glazer, who was in the office furniture business.

"We never thought we would grow this quickly," said Belnick. "Five years ago we operated the business out of our home. Just 2 1/2 years ago we moved into a 40,000 square foot warehouse. In the past year, we've expanded it to 100,000 square feet and now this move."

"We expect to take occupancy of the new building on June 1," Belnick said. "We now plan to import desks, conference tables, and computer furniture among other things. With this additional warehouse space, our possibilities for growth are almost endless. We have a bright future ahead of us."

This is the latest development in the remarkable business career of Sean Belnick, now a student at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. In middle school, he made thousands selling Pokemon cards online as well as designing web sites for friends, family, and local companies. Belnick founded BizChair.com in August of 2001. The company began by selling office chairs and eventually began importing their own office chairs from China. BizChair.com currently has over 75 employees and expects revenues of $38,000,000 to $42,000,000 in 2007. In 2006, BizChair.com was listed as #438 on INC Magazine's list of the "Top 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies."
