MANCHESTER, N.H., June 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In New Hampshire one in five students will not graduate from high school and one in three college freshmen fail to earn a diploma. To bring attention to this crisis, New Hampshire leaders including Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta, former Governor Jeanne Shaheen and renown inventor and businessman Dean Kamen will join Strong American Schools' "ED in 08" Campaign Chairman Roy Romer, to challenge the 2008 presidential candidates to make K-12 education reform a top priority.

Strong American Schools will open its "ED in 08" campaign office in Manchester, N.H. in the midst of the Democratic and Republican debates. The campaign, a project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, is an unprecedented up to $60 million non partisan movement, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundations and The Eli and Edythe Broad foundation, which calls on all presidential candidates to improve America's public schools.
