BROOKLYN, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/02/07 -- Coffee Holding Co., Inc. (AMEX: JVA) has entered into a three-year licensing agreement with Entenmann's Products, Inc., the owner of the famous Entenmann's trademarks and subsidiary of Entenmann's, Inc., one of the nation's oldest baking companies, to manufacturer and distribute a new line of coffee products bearing the Entenmann's brand name. The agreement gives Coffee Holding Company the exclusive rights to manufacture, market and distribute a full line of Entenmann's brand coffee products throughout the United States. The Joester Loria Group, a premiere licensing and marketing agency and exclusive agent for Entenmann's Products, Inc., brokered the deal.
"We are extremely excited about this opportunity," said Andrew Gordon, President and CEO of Coffee Holding Co. "Entenmann's is the premier name in baked goods in Supermarket's around the country and we are proud to be able to associate ourselves with them. Branding a line of coffees with the Entenmann's name seems to be a natural as the synergies between the items should prove to be a winning combination in the stores they currently are known as well as the accounts which we already service."
"We anticipate a strong demand from consumers for Entenmann's coffee once they see the product in their local stores," says Lorraine Hale, Category Director for the Entenmann's companies. "We're looking forward to our entry into the coffee category with Coffee Holding Co. and anticipate a long and productive relationship."
With more than 100 products and over a century of experience, Entenmann's is best-known for delivering daily fresh-baked sweets to store shelves from coast-to-coast. All-time best sellers include the Original Recipe soft-baked chocolate chip cookie, crumb cakes and rich frosted donuts. Entenmann's continues to be an innovator in fresh-baked sweets, with the success of products such as Entenmann's "Little Bites." Designed to deliver the same great tastes in "right-sized" products, Entenmann's Little Bites offer convenience and portion-control for busy on-the-go lifestyles of both adults and children.
"We are delighted that the master bakers of Entenmann's and Coffee Holding Company are working together to extend the Entenmann's brand into the coffee category," says Joanne Loria, Executive Vice President and COO of The Joester Loria Group. "This is just the first step for Entenmann's and an exciting time for the brand as we continue to develop new, strategic branding opportunities in the food and beverage category."
New York-based Entenmann's, Inc. has been baking cakes, pies, cookies, Danish, donuts and other confections for over a century. Founded as a family bakery in 1898, the company remained family owned until 1976. Entenmann's, Inc. and Entenmann's Products, Inc. are now subsidiaries of George Weston Bakeries Inc. Entenmann's bakery in Bay Shore, Long Island is one of the largest in the country. Entenmann's delivers hundreds of products all across the U.S. with "just baked" freshness.

Thanks to Docker, it becomes very easy to leverage containers to build, ship, and run any Linux application on any kind of infrastructure. Docker is particularly helpful for microservice architectures because their successful implementation relies on a fast, efficient deployment mechanism – which is precisely one of the features of Docker. Microservice architectures are therefore becoming more popular, and are increasingly seen as an interesting option even for smaller projects, instead of bein...

DevOps tends to focus on the relationship between Dev and Ops, putting an emphasis on the ops and application infrastructure. But that’s changing with microservices architectures. In her session at DevOps Summit, Lori MacVittie, Evangelist for F5 Networks, will focus on how microservices are changing the underlying architectures needed to scale, secure and deliver applications based on highly distributed (micro) services and why that means an expansion into “the network” for DevOps.

BlueBox bridge the chasm between development and infrastructure. Hosting providers are taking standardization and automation too far. For many app developers it does nothing but spawn mayhem and more work. They have to figure out how their creations live on a pre-fab infrastructure solution full of constraints. Operations-as-a-Service is what BlueBox does. BlueBox utilizes development tools such as OpenStack, EMC Razor, Opscode’s Chef and BlueBox's proprietary tools give the power to do the unor...
