Spitzer Mitsubishi Welcomes New Crossover SUV To Showroom

2018 Eclipse Cross is now available for sale or lease

SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio, April 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The day has finally arrived. A new era is starting at Spitzer Mitsubishi. The 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been delivered. Longtime fans of the automaker were excited to see the Eclipse nameplate returning, but they were also absolutely gobsmacked to see that it was attached to a crossover SUV. The all-new model is the centerpiece of the automaker's new crossover lineup that is flanked by revised Outlander, Outlander Sport and Outlander PHEV. The 2018 Eclipse Cross is a nimble and efficient crossover model that is packed with the manufacturer's latest technology. Since this is a brand-new model, initial numbers are relatively low, but more inventory is being added every week.

Potential buyers considering the Mitsubishi brand for the first time are going to be impressed with its array of technology. The 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is the first model to be available with the Mitsubishi Connect system which hosts an array of different functions from the audio system to smartphone application integration. Additionally, the 2018 Eclipse Cross will be one of the only options in its segment that will feature a color heads-up display and heated rear seats.

Each available trim of the new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be available with a turbocharged, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that is attached to an eight-speed continuously variable transmission. This will give drivers more than 150 horsepower and better than 180 pound-feet of torque to work with. Front-wheel-drive is standard equipment on the base model, but upper trims come with all-wheel-drive.

Nobody should be fooled by the slim dimensions of the 2018 Eclipse Cross. When properly configured, the new Mitsubishi crossover SUV can offer up 48.9 cubic-feet of cargo volume. Even with the rear seats deployed, there is more than 22 cubic-feet of cargo volume which can be used.

Anyone who would like to see the available options for the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross can view the dealership's inventory online by visiting the website, www.mitsubishisheffield.com. The showroom is located at 4840 Transportation Drive, Sheffield Village, OH, 44054. Customers who would like to schedule a test drive with the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross can make an appointment today with a Spitzer Mitsubishi sales professional by calling, 440-638-5596.
