Gemalto protegerá las redes 5G de última generación de los ataques cibernéticos con Intel® Software Guard Extensions

Esta nueva iniciativa combina el «enclave» confiable(1) de Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX) , desplegado en los CPU de los servidores en la nube líderes en la industria de la compañía, con los servicios avanzados de software de seguridad SafeNet Data Protection On Demand de Gemalto, para crear una robusta solución de seguridad a nivel procesador para redes virtualizadas.

Puesto que la migración de las funciones de red física a la nube ha aumentado las «superficies de ataque» para las fuerzas maliciosas, uno de los desafíos para la industria de las comunicaciones móviles es garantizar la protección de la identidad, la confidencialidad e integridad de estas funciones de red recientemente virtualizadas.
