Mitsubishi Heavy Industries inclusa nell’Indice di sostenibilità Dow Jones per la regione Asia-Pacifico per il secondo anno consecutivo

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) (TOKYO:7011) è stata selezionata per essere inclusa nell’Indice di sostenibilità Dow Jones (Dow Jones Sustainability Index, DJSI) per la regione Asia-Pacifico, uno dei principali Indici globali di valutazione degli investimenti finalizzato alla quantificazione delle prestazioni ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance (ambiente, società e governance)). È il secondo anno consecutivo che MHI viene inclusa nell’indice.

Il DJSI è stato sviluppato nel 1999 dalla società statunitense S&P Dow Jones e dalla società svizzera di consulenza per investimenti RobecoSAM. Le aziende quotate in tutto il mondo vengono valutate in termini di criteri economici, ambientali e sociali complessivi e selezionate per essere incluse nell’Indice se presentano un livello di sostenibilità eccezionale. MHI è una delle 150 aziende selezionate nel 2018, di cui 75 erano aziende giapponesi, su un totale di circa 600 grandi aziende nella regione Asia-Pacifico.
