Pacific Fund Systems' (PFS) the global leader in fund administration systems has launched its new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, PFS-CLOUD, with the first client of the new service now benefitting from seamless continuous access to the award-winning PFS-PAXUS and PFS-CONNECT software via the cloud.

PFS-PAXUS offers a complete back-office fund accounting, portfolio valuation, fund pricing and transfer agency administrative solution that includes regulatory reporting, in a single fully-integrated system, providing the backbone solution for fund administration providers globally, from independent fund administration providers to some of the world's largest global financial services companies. PFS-CONNECT provides a web portal for access to all fund transaction and performance data by fund managers, their investors and intermediaries, and also incorporates optional online shareholder transaction processing.

PFS-CLOUD provides PFS clients with the ability to reduce IT costs, removing any requirement for local PFS-PAXUS and PFS-CONNECT hosting expenditure. PFS-CLOUD provides immediate and complete flexibility to scale infrastructure requirements instantly, whilst also freeing up valuable client in-house resources to focus on core business activities without compromising security or user experience. As part of the service PFS-CLOUD also eliminates the need for clients to execute time-consuming upgrade processes as these will be performed by PFS experts. PFS-CLOUD allows fund administrators to access the latest version of PFS-PAXUS, and the optional web portal PFS-CONNECT, via a fast, fully secure, virtualised environment that is hosted with best-of-breed Microsoft and Citrix infrastructure.
