Entrust Datacard adquire a Safelayer, com sede em Barcelona

A Entrust Datacard, fornecedora líder de soluções tecnológicas de emissão segura e identidade confiável, anunciou hoje que a empresa adquiriu a Safelayer Secure Communications S.A., fornecedora líder de software de segurança para infraestrutura pública essencial (public key infrastructure, PKI), autenticação multifatorial, assinatura eletrônica, criptografia de dados e para a proteção de transações eletrônicas. A aquisição permite que a empresa continue a ampliar sua presença no mercado e os recursos técnicos na Europa Continental e na América Latina.

Como os ecossistemas digitais continuam a ser ampliados além do perímetro e em um mundo onde todos os setores estão se tornando digital, é importante que as empresas capacitem seus funcionários, clientes e parceiros com acesso protegido e seguro a informação, aplicativos e redes necessárias para fazer seu trabalho. Além das oportunidades de expansão do mercado, a aquisição fornece também à Entrust Datacard a melhor tecnologia de assinatura digital da categoria da Safelayer, em conformidade com a eIDAS. A solução de assinatura digital é uma plataforma abrangente para os serviços confiáveis eIDAS que combina autenticação, assinatura única (single sign on - SSO) e federação de identidade. A solução incorpora PKI para implementar funções de assinatura eletrônica. Essa plataforma flexível oferecer serviços de assinatura baseada em servidor e baseada em dispositivo móvel.

A Safelayer tem sede em Barcelona, Espanha, com escritório adicional em Madri. A Entrust Datacard manterá os escritórios adquiridos e os funcionários.
