Dr Jonathan Rich nommé président-directeur général de Lumileds

Lumileds a annoncé aujourd’hui la nomination du Dr Jonathan Rich au poste de président-directeur général. Le dernier poste occupé par Dr. Rich de 2010 à 2018 était celui de président et PDG de Berry Global, Inc., une entreprise d’emballages de produits de consommation et de matériaux spécialisés figurant au classement Fortune 500. Dr Rich succède à Mark Adams qui démissionne de ses fonctions de PDG et du conseil d’administration mais restera au sein de la société en tant que conseiller.

Avant d’occuper le poste de président et PDG de Berry Global, Dr. Rich était président-directeur général de Momentive, une société de spécialités chimiques dont le siège se trouve à Albany, à New York. Auparavant, il occupait des postes chez Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, tout d’abord en tant que président de l'activité Produits chimiques mondiaux et ensuite en tant que président de la division des pneus nord-américaine de Goodyear. Dr Rich a passé ses années de formation chez General Electric, d’abord comme chercheur scientifique chez GE Global Research puis dans différents postes de direction chez GE Plasics. Il a obtenu une licence de science en chimie de l’Iowa State University et un doctorat de chimie de l’Université de Wisconsin-Madison. Il est conférencier invité à Cornell University Johnson School of Business depuis 2017.
