telx Appoints Tesh Durvasula as Chief Marketing and Business Officer

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/11/07 -- telx, the premier operator of Meet Me Room and Core Interconnection Colocation Facilities in the United States, announces the appointment of Tesh Durvasula as Chief Marketing and Business Officer.

Mr. Durvasula will now be leading Corporate Development and all facets of Marketing to include: product, distribution strategies, pricing and promotions, communications, public relations, business development and customer support. This appointment rounds out the executive management team and provides Mr. Durvasula with a key leadership position in the 'new' telx company which has grown from 2 to 13 facilities in the past 9 months, including the acquisition of NYC Connect where Mr. Durvasula was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Durvasula is an industry veteran bringing over 17 years of technology and management experience to the company. Prior to founding NYC Connect in 2003, which was acquired by telx in March 2007, Mr. Durvasula has held various roles in sales, marketing, IT services, hosting, data center and telecommunications. He previously served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Metromedia Fiber Network (a.k.a. AboveNet), where he played a major role in two strategic acquisitions; AboveNet in September 1999 and Sitesmith in February 2001.
