CORONA, Calif., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Automated Vending Technologies (Pink Sheets: AVDT), a vending industry leader, announced today that it is customizing its revolutionary RAM 4000 vending machine. The machine will dispense pre-activated cell phones at International airports throughout the U.S. The machine is being built in agreement with 011 Mobile headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shane McFarland of 011 Mobile said there is a significant void in the marketplace since international travelers arrive in the U.S. in large numbers daily and have an immediate need to be connected to local businesses and other destinations. "For a relatively low cost, they can now use a credit card to purchase a cell phone that is dispensed charged up and ready to use. Our relationship with Automated Vending Technologies has allowed us to refine and customize the cell phone purchasing experience. We are very pleased to announce the launch of this service."

The joint effort between Automated Vending Technologies and 011 Mobile will first be launched at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the new RAM 4000 dispensing system is expected to be available at upwards of 60 additional airports by the end of the year. Five different types of 001 Mobile cell phones can be purchased with this service.
