This is the background to the iPhone Developer Summit session "iPhone as Biz-Phone" to be given in March by Sybase's  Senthil Krishnapillai.

The session will advocate a proactive approach to adding iPhone as a supported device, and illustrate how doing so provides enterprise support for iPhones and reduces security concerns, while still providing a rich user experience utilizing the native iPhone mail application.

Krishnapillai, director of product management for Sybase iAnywhere, is responsible for bringing future generations of mobile collaboration products to market. He has more than 15 years experience in product management, marketing and development for mobile devices and smartphones and is a member of various consortiums including OMA-DS, CTIA.

These are among the dozens of questions to be asked and answered at the iPhone Developer Summit being held in New York City in March - an intensive and content-rich two-day program designed to satisfy the growing hunger among software developers and IT professionals for a broad spectrum of sessions informing developers what kinds of development options and opportunities the iPhone provides.
