In January 2003, the General Services Administration published a much- anticipated proposed rule that for the first time would allow state and local governments to buy information technology using the GSA schedule contracts, a practice known as cooperative purchasing. GSA Schedule 70 is a catalog of vendor contracts used by federal agencies when they need to purchase information technology products and services such as training.

NetCom's training programs can be purchased through its GSA FSS Contract under Schedule 70, contract number GS-35F-0653T. All training programs can be purchased with a government purchasing card.
