Open Kernel Labs announced that OKL4, through its integration with the Qualcomm MSM7200 chip set enables mobile devices from HTC, the world's largest developer of Microsoft Windows Mobile-based phones.

OK Labs virtualization and componentization framework has been designed specifically to address the challenges associated with creating complex software for mobile devices. OKL4 also offers a better way to secure critical device subsystems and data, based on a reduction of the subsystem's trusted computing base.
