Plone and Drupal: Different Approaches, Different Results
paul.nowak wrote: Matt, thanks for the comments. I made an error on the version of Plone. It's 2.5 Plone running on Zope 2.9x. In regards to the additional products, we have a skin installed and we have a product that we had custom developed for us that connects to a PostgreSQL database. We've looked at slow PostgreSQL queries causing problems and have not been able to find an issue. We've also tested for the case where the PostgreSQL server is down and have not been able to create an issue. We therefor...

PumpTop TV Announces Digital Signage Ad Sales Partnership With SeeSaw Networks
PumpTop's Growing Gas Station Network Extends SeeSaw's National Reach

IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/12/08 -- PumpTop TV, a leading digital out-of-home media network located at gas pumps, announced a broad reaching advertising sales partnership with SeeSaw Networks. The agreement, which makes PumpTop TV an affiliate member of SeeSaw's network, enables media agencies and advertisers to include the PumpTop TV gas station network in national digital signage advertising campaigns planned on SeeSawAds.com.

PumpTop TV's network consists of more than 3,500 screens found at most major gas station brands in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Diego markets. Installations are currently taking place in Phoenix, with Dallas, Houston, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston slated for later this year. The network today delivers over 2,000,000 measurable impressions per week, as measured by the number of monthly fuel transactions reported by gas retailers at their stations.

By aggregating the fragmented digital out-of-home media space, SeeSaw has created the scale required for advertisers and agencies to effectively reach national audiences. In addition to PumpTop's gas stations, which are located in the top markets in the U.S., SeeSaw's network includes screens in 25 different categories -- including health clubs, waiting rooms, bookstores, sports bars, retail stores, video rental stores, supermarkets, coffee shops and other high traffic venues in over 200 DMAs.

"More than 70 percent of Americans go to the gas station at least six times per month," said Roy Reeves, vice president of sales and marketing at PumpTop TV. "By combining our gas station locations with SeeSaw's network, we deliver a highly measurable and targeted way for national advertisers to connect with people on-the-go with sight, sound and motion while they pump gas."

Agencies and advertisers can plan and buy digital out-of-home advertising campaigns on SeeSaw's aggregated digital signage network, including all of PumpTop TV's screens, by using SeeSawAds.com. This Web-based service enables media buyers to create customized life pattern marketing campaigns across multiple networks, markets and demographics, delivering national scale to a fragmented industry. Life pattern marketing is a media planning methodology invented by SeeSaw Networks that provides a framework for mapping the daily pattern of a consumer's typical life and weaving an advertising program through that pattern.

"Combining PumpTop's gas station screens with the other venues in our network enables advertisers to intercept target audiences such as college students, busy moms and business professionals during their daily routines," said Rocky Gunderson, vice president of marketing and network development at SeeSaw Networks. "PumpTop TV's high-quality content and programming provide advertisers with an ideal way to engage people in a truly captive environment."
