LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/08/05 -- FrontBridge Technologies, Inc. today
announced a host of email management services aimed at market-leading law
firms looking to increase partner productivity by eliminating
time-consuming, non-billable email administration. More than 250 law firms
in all specialty areas have outsourced critical email administration tasks
to FrontBridge, resulting in substantial improvements in business
efficiency without the overhead of building and managing an expensive
on-premise system.
FrontBridge has satisfied messaging service requirements for these law
firms with its strong history of eliminating spam and viruses. Its unique
knowledge of law firm messaging challenges has led to a tailored Total
Message Management approach that helps firms increase productivity while
mitigating risk. Services include email archival services for storing,
indexing and retrieving critical client information; security services for
encrypting confidential client files; and email continuity services for
guaranteeing ongoing business communications during internal email system
outages.
"Virtually 100 percent of all our attorney/client communication is
conducted via email, creating a high volume of messages that is
increasingly difficult to manage," said Vladimir Salomatoff Jr., Chief
Technology Officer for Adorno & Yoss, the nation's largest certified
minority-owned law firm. "Every second wasted on email administration is a
second taken away from providing valuable counsel to clients. For years,
FrontBridge has been one of the few companies to understand the legal
business and has helped us improve business efficiency by automating
several tasks that have traditionally eaten away at billable hours and
consequently into the company's bottom line."
Conduct Email Search and Retrieval in Seconds Not Hours
Law firms of all sizes, from sub-100 partners to large multinational firms,
have embraced email as their primary communications vehicle but understand
that there is a low return on investment from building a costly email
infrastructure. Smaller firms have had particular difficulty managing email
because they've traditionally relied on on-premise systems that consume
copious amounts of disk space and require significant IT administration
resources.
Storing email on local servers is a manual process involving attorneys
dedicating non-billable hours sifting through gigabytes of records to
determine what email needed to be kept for compliance or discovery
purposes. Should the emails be called upon during litigation, searching the
information store becomes a time-consuming project. If the email search
extends to a former employee's machine, companies are left at a loss
because critical email files stored locally have been deleted and not
uploaded to a centrally managed email archive.
FrontBridge Message Archive enables law firms to manage and store infinite
amounts of electronic communications in an indexed, searchable and
retrievable centralized archive. Through an easy-to-use web-enabled system,
partners can search years of email data automatically for key words found
in the subject line, body and attachments, accelerating email retrieval
from weeks and hours to seconds.
Protect Client Confidentiality with FrontBridge Secure Email
Confidential communications between clients and associates is paramount in
professional services. With privileged information often transmitted
through electronic channels, regulations are requiring that these
communications be encrypted for privacy and secured for later review.
FrontBridge provides managed encryption services that enforce policies at
the gateway for encrypting sensitive data, taking the burden away from the
desktop and into the hands of IT through the use of policy enforcement.
Messages sent via the managed encryption services do not require
complicated decryption keys and can only be read by their intended
recipients.
Guarantee Productivity with Email during Network Outages
Many law firms are susceptible to email outages, yet most lack a reliable
alternate to their existing email systems. Traditional disaster recovery
services for email continuity have focused on guaranteeing email
availability but not email productivity. FrontBridge provides firms with a
backup email system without any significant capital outlay. FrontBridge's
Active Message Continuity (AMC) service enables full email productivity,
including sending, receiving, reading and composing email in the event of a
system outage. After the server connection is restored, emails are
automatically synchronized with the primary email system, avoiding further
loss in productivity. With upward of 90 percent of legal communications
conducted via electronic messaging, AMC is an invaluable insurance policy
for guaranteeing business continuity and minimizing the financial impact of
planned and unplanned email outages.
Prevent Spam and Viruses from Interrupting Productivity
Spam comprises more than 85 percent of company wide email and continues to
interrupt the legal community's business operations. FrontBridge's
easy-to-implement managed services can virtually eliminate spam with
accurate, multi-layer filtering technologies. The company's preventive
approach to spam and virus fighting services keep malicious code off
corporate networks and off employee desktops.
FrontBridge delivers comprehensive Total Message Management services for
email and instant message compliance, security and continuity, ensuring the
safety, manageability and accessibility of all electronic communications.
The service offering delivers message archiving, spam filtering, virus
scanning, encrypted email, policy enforcement and disaster recovery.
Services are powered globally by the only load-balanced, fully redundant
data center network. FrontBridge is based in Los Angeles, Calif., and its
managed services are trusted and relied upon by more than 3,000 businesses
across the globe. FrontBridge maintains the managed service industry's
