PORTLAND, Ore., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ConfIdent Technologies announces deals with three leading OpenID providers. ClaimID, Clickpass and ooTao will use ConfIdent Technologies RecognitionAUTH(TM) solution to secure OpenIDs across their sites.
ConfIdent Technologies has developed an innovative enterprise grade secure login authentication technology. RecognitionAUTH(TM) is set to change the face of internet security with a new multifactor authentication and login solution that uses images rather than passwords. This stronger authentication is more secure yet intuitive for users to understand, and needs no additional hardware. In addition, ConfIdent's solution can be free for the client and even provide an opportunity to generate incremental revenue when deployed using relevant, sponsored images paid for by advertisers.
"Today's news shows that sites and users want strong authentication and we are delighted that these leading OpenID providers have chosen our solution to secure their users," said Joel Norvell, CEO and co-founder of ConfIdent Technologies. "ConfIdent's vision is to deliver that enterprise grade security to the consumer and be the universal multifactor authentication enabler for the internet."
"We're really excited to be able to add ConfIdent's ImageShield to our existing Clickpass network," said Peter Nixey, CEO of Clickpass. "It's almost a contradiction in terms to have one product offer both extra security and ease of use but that's exactly what people will get with ImageShield and their Clickpass."
"ConfIdent's elegant ImageShield will allow us to add two-factor authentication without a lot of hassle," said Fred Stutzman , co-founder of ClaimID. "We are excited to offer increased security to our customers."
