In regards to the additional products, we have a skin installed and we have a product that we had custom developed for us that connects to a PostgreSQL database. We've looked at slow PostgreSQL queries causing problems and have not been able to find an issue. We've also tested for the case where the PostgreSQL server is down and have not been able to create an issue. We therefor...
ADC (NASDAQ: ADCT)(www.adc.com) today
announced that it will feature its TrueNet®
Structured Cabling System for enterprises at the Interop 2008 Conference
and Exposition in Las Vegas, April 27-May 2. TrueNet, a highly reliable,
end-to-end system, is designed to meet the unique network infrastructure
needs of modern data centers. The event is being held at the Mandalay
Bay Convention Center where the company’s
solutions will be on display at booth #2225.
“Today’s data center
must support a wide range of different equipment, applications and
bandwidth. Our TrueNet
portfolio is designed to fully support the modern data center by
delivering industry leading performance and flexibility, and our world
renowned reliability,” said Jaxon Lang, vice
president Global Connectivity Solutions Americas for ADC. “ADC
is also committed to advancing energy efficiency in data centers. Our
space-saving data center solutions improve airflow and reduce costs
associated with power consumption and cooling requirements.”
Solutions for the Modern Data Center
At this year’s conference and exposition, ADC
will feature:
Augmented Category 6 Solutions - Recently the
Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) approved the much
anticipated Augmented Category 6 (Category 6a) cabling standard
TIA-568-B.2-10. This defines Category 6a Channel, Permanent Link and
Component requirements for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T)
applications in the data center and local area network (LAN). Designed
to optimize customers’ networks, ADC’s
true end-to-end augmented category 6 solutions meet and exceed this
industry standard.
The Energy Efficient Data Center - Currently at 1.5 percent of
the United States' total power grid consumption, modern data centers
are one of the largest users of energy in this country. With the
demand for data center resources growing each year and the current
trend of data center consolidation, the stress these facilities place
on the environment is simply unsustainable. At Interop, ADC will
feature its solutions designed for data center energy efficiency.
TrueNet Fiber Panel (TFP) System - ADC’s
rack-mount TFP has been enhanced to offer more efficient deployment,
user-friendly design and superior functionality. Key new features
include a door window that allow clear viewing of the designation
cards, three different locking points on the sliding tray and extra
depth in the new chassis for improved slack storage (15+ inches).
New From ADC at Interop 2008
ADC also will unveil the following at Interop 2008:
Data Center FiberGuide®
System - ADC's comprehensive FiberGuide system, a raceway
management center for data center applications, is now available in
the color black. FiberGuide is a fiber management system used to
protect and route fiber optic patch cords and multifiber cable
assemblies to and from fiber splice enclosures, distribution frames
and fiber optic terminal devices.
3rd Edition TrueNet Catalog - ADC will introduce the latest
edition of its comprehensive TrueNet product and solution catalog at
Interop 2008. Customers can visit booth #2225 and request to be one of
the first to receive this updated and all-inclusive book detailing ADC’s
TrueNet product portfolio when it is available later this spring.
Live Ethernet Alliance®
Booth Demonstration
During Interop 2008, ADC also is participating in the Ethernet Alliance
Booth #1567 where members will showcase the latest in Ethernet
technologies. ADC will join an interoperability demonstration featuring
10GBASE-T active equipment from a host of manufacturers running over ADC’s
CopperTen four-connector 100 meter augmented Category 6 channel.
