Quest Diagnostics Selects Ericom Virtualization for Centrally Managed Application Access

PowerTerm WebConnect Provides Access to Windows Terminal Servers, Virtual Desktops (VDI), Blade PCs and Legacy Hosts

Ericom announced that Quest Diagnostics has selected Ericom's PowerTerm WebConnect Enterprise for an enterprise-wide deployment. Ericom's PowerTerm WebConnect will provide 17,000 users in Quest Diagnostics' nationwide operations with secure and centrally managed access to server-based applications.

PowerTerm WebConnect, Ericom's Presentation Virtualization and Desktop Virtualization solution, provides access to Windows Terminal Servers, virtual desktops (VDI), Blade PCs and legacy hosts. As a centrally managed solution, PowerTerm WebConnect reduces the cost and complexity of traditional application and desktop management.

Ericom's PowerTerm WebConnect was selected to provide Quest Diagnostics with a solution that will provide its business with secure local and remote access to applications running on a range of hosted computing environments.

"Ericom's PowerTerm WebConnect is an ideal and comprehensive solution that provides secure and centrally managed access to business-critical applications and data," said Brian Berns, Ericom's COO.
