HOLLYWOOD, Fla., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Winn-Dixie officially
celebrates the grand opening of its newly remodeled store at 3850 North 46th
Avenue in Hollywood. The store was renovated to better meet the needs of its
customers and neighbors. Among the various upgrades, customers will now find a
newly expanded kosher section with a wide variety of products.
Winn-Dixie has planned a Taste of Winn-Dixie event designed to thank
shoppers for their patience during the renovations and invites the entire
community to come and enjoy the store's new features.
"With expanded product offerings, a more modern look and friendly service,
the newly remodeled store is better for our Associates, neighbors and the
community," said Walt Grossman, district manager for Winn-Dixie.
New Products and Better Selection
Customers will now find a new and expanded produce section with fresh
fruits and vegetables. Those visiting the store will find an upgraded and
expanded seafood and meat department, as well as an expanded organic section.
In addition to the store's existing kosher offerings, customers will find
expanded kosher dairy, meat, and frozen sections.
"By enhancing and expanding our current selections, we hope to exceed our
shoppers' expectations," said Paul Marks, store director. "We look forward to

neighborhood grocer."
The store is commemorating its grand opening with samples of new items and

4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Area residents and families are invited to enjoy a Taste of Winn-Dixie.
The event will feature kosher product samplings throughout the store; live
entertainment, a kosher cooking demonstration supervised by Star-K, wine and
cheese samplings, and a delicious chocolate fountain with fresh fruits.
