TORONTO, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Manulife Financial Corporation and The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company will welcome Robert J. Harding, Chairman of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., to their Boards of Directors on October 2, 2008.
Mr. Harding joins Manulife's Board bringing sound experience from his more than 25 years with Brookfield Asset Management Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Accountant. He also holds an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Waterloo.
