DNC PHOTO OP: Hotel Monaco Denver's Director of Pet Relations, Hercules, Dressed and Ready to Welcome Democratic National Convention
Media, public invited to meet and photograph Hercules, a one year-old Shih Tzu and the Hotel Monaco Denver's own 'Super Delegate' in his special red, white & blue doggie tux
DENVER, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Hercules, Kimpton's Hotel Monaco Denver's
director of pet relations and own "Super Delegate," is ready to greet
attendees of the 2008 Democratic National Convention in true, patriotic style.
In honor of Denver hosting the DNC, Hercules will be decked out in a
custom-made red, white and blue tuxedo and top hat, which he will be debuting
on August 25 in the lobby of the Hotel Monaco Denver, ready for the
"Pup-erazzi."
Media and the public are invited to meet, greet and photograph Hercules at
the hotel at the following times during the DNC:
Monday, Aug. 25 - Wednesday, Aug. 27
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The Hotel Monaco Denver is located at 1717 Champa Street in downtown
Denver.
Breaks for Hercules will be taken for walks and treats. However, no
guarantee is made that Hercules will keep his top hat on for all photos.
Appointed to his position in September 2007, Hercules has been responsible
for meeting and greeting hotel guests and helping them to feel like the
pet-friendly Hotel Monaco Denver is their home away from home during this
exciting time for the Mile High City. He will also ensure that National Dog
Day on Tuesday, August 26, is not forgotten in the flurry of DNC events.
