OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/20/08 -- - Elections Canada has started revising the preliminary lists of electors for all polling divisions in Don Valley West (Ontario). Preliminary lists of electors are produced using information in the National Register of Electors.
- Electors in Don Valley West who are not on the list or who are listed at the wrong address can ask for a revision by contacting their local Elections Canada office.
- Voter information cards will be mailed to all registered electors in Don Valley West (Ontario) between Wednesday, August 27 and Friday, August 29, 2008. An elector who has not received a card by Wednesday, September 3, 2008, or who receives a card with incorrect information, may contact the local Elections Canada office to correct the information.
- A reminder card will be mailed to every Canadian residence in Don Valley West between Wednesday, September 3 and Friday, September 5.
"Every elector in Don Valley West should be included on the list of electors for his or her polling division," says Chief Electoral Officer Marc Mayrand. "It is very easy to register or to make corrections to information on the list."
