Java SpringSource Partners with Carahsoft
Will Service Federal, State & Local Government

SpringSource, the company behind Spring, the de facto standard in enterprise Java, and a provider of infrastructure software, announced a strategic partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corporation, a government IT solutions provider.

Under the terms of the partnership, Carahsoft will resell SpringSource products and services to the public sector for the first time. SpringSource Enterprise and Application Platform software offerings, as well as commercial support offerings around Apache Tomcat and other Apache technologies, will be offered under numerous contract programs, including the Federal GSA. With the award of the GSA Schedule, Carahsoft will operate as a Master Government Partner and help bring SpringSource products to government customers utilizing Carahsoft's network of open source focused resellers and integrators.
