American Marketing Association (AMA) announces that on Thursday, August 28
from 11:30AM to 1:30PM, it will host "Get Hired," a careers program
featuring Kelly Jensen, Omnicom Management Services, Mike Overby, Express
Employment Personnel and Robert Waring, Monster.com at the Fort Worth Club,
306 W. 7th St., Fort Worth, TX.
The goal of "Get Hired" is to provide job seekers with insights into the
job market today, to discuss what employers are looking for in candidates,
to understand the recruiting side and learn more about the evaluation
process from a headhunter's perspective. And, to get the latest trends in
online job banks, to learn how the online recruiting world is changing, and
to hear about some sweeping changes Monster.com intends to make in coming
months.

Kelly Jensen, Recruiting Manager, Omnicom Management Services
As a recruiting manager with Omnicom Management Services since 1998, Kelly
is responsible for the management of sourcing and recruiting for several
Omnicom-owned agencies, including OMS, TracyLocke, Tribal DDB, Dieste
Harmel & Partners, SpotPlus, N-GEN Studios, TicToc, and The Component
Group. She specializes in the recruiting of advertising agency
professionals in major markets, including Dallas, New York City, San
Francisco, Orange County, Denver, Atlanta, and Orlando. Prior to Omnicom
Management Services, Kelly spent seven years recruiting in the temporary
staffing industry with Imprimis and Today's Temporary. She holds a
B.A. from Illinois State University.
Mike Overby, Principal and Co-Owner, Express Employment Professionals
Mike and his wife, Arie Lee, manage the Irving/Metro Dallas office of
Express Employment and provide staffing, recruiting, general human
resources and management consulting to their clients. His background
includes over 25 years' experience in corporate positions at Ernst and
Young, American Express and Excel Communications specializing in operations
management, human resources and internal consulting. He is a member of the
Board of Directors for the DFW Staffing Management Association, a member of
the Board of Directors of the Irving/Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and a
Leader of the Workforce Enrichment Council. He holds a B.S. degree from
Oklahoma State University and an M.S. from the University of Oklahoma. He
is also a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Management
Consultant (CMC).

Robert Waring, Director, Branch Office Strategy, Monster.com
An online recruiting specialist with Monster.com since 2003, Robert has
been in the employment, recruiting and staffing industry since 1980, and
involved with online recruiting since its inception in the early 1990s.
Over his career, Robert has worked in online media, consulting services,
contract/temporary services, direct placement, executive search and
corporate staffing. As Director of Branch Office Strategy and Senior
Account Manager in the "Monster for Staffing" division of Monster
Worldwide, he analyzes recruiting processes, programs and metrics, and
crafts online recruiting strategies for privately held independent firms to
Staffing Industry 'Top 100' companies. He received the 'Top Inside Account
