Aternity Announces Virtualization Partnership with Ness Technologies
Israel's IT Services Company Appointed Exclusive Israeli Partner for Aternity's Frontline Performance Intelligence Platform

By: Virtualization News
Aug. 27, 2008 08:58 AM

Aternity announced an exclusive partnership agreement in Israel with Ness Technologies, a global provider of information technology services and solutions and Israel's leading IT services company. The agreement signals the rising global demand for real end user experience and Aternity's Frontline Performance Intelligence solutions. Ness Technologies will sell, implement, train and support the Aternity Frontline Performance Intelligence (FPI) Platform in Israel, enabling enterprises to dramatically reduce business disruption, increase user productivity, and optimize hardware and software expenses.

"Enterprise-class organizations realize that they need to monitor and measure application performance, usage, and usability not just from the data center perspective, but from the end user perspective," explained Shahar Efal, President of Ness Israel. "Aternity delivers a unique and extremely effective approach with its Frontline Performance Intelligence platform which represents the next-generation of application performance management technology. We are committed to the successful deployment and implementation of Aternity as the ubiquitous platform for delivering end-to-end visibility into real end user experience for our clients."

Frontline Performance Intelligence provides a 360 degree view of real end user experience for both real and virtual desktops, transforming organizations into proactive IT enterprises. Moving forward, Ness Israel operations will further evangelize the inherent business value of real-time, Frontline Performance Intelligence metrics to its clients. As such, Aternity's FPI Platform will be the de facto standard for organizations seeking to mitigate the revenue loss often associated with poor application performance.

"Aternity is a well-regarded as the pioneer and leader of a new-class of application performance management through Frontline Performance Intelligence," said Dedi Devorsky, Manager of NessPRO Israel, Ness Technologies' product distribution businesses. "We are excited to form this partnership with Aternity, which will enable us to provide our clients with the in-depth frontline intelligence they need to understand application usage and usability, quality of service, user behavior and productivity."

The Aternity/Ness alliance marks another major partnership agreement announced since Aternity officially launched its Frontline Performance Intelligence Partner Program at the end of June, 2008.

"Formalizing a partnership with Ness is a milestone for Aternity," said Trevor Matz, President and CEO of Aternity. "Global demand within the application performance and end user experience is rising daily. We are continually learning about new use cases enterprises have around frontline performance intelligence such as optimization of mission-critical application performance, desktop virtualization, or improving application usage and usability. Companies that want to stop revenue leakage through poor application performance, and want to start increasing overall business productivity, are also turning to Aternity. Our partnership with Ness will enable us to expand our global footprint through a trusted, collaborative approach, providing best-in-class software and services -- a powerful combination within our industry."

About the Aternity Frontline Performance Intelligence (FPI) Platform
The Aternity FPI Platform monitors and analyzes in real-time the three core components that dynamically interact, define, and constantly impact end user IT experience -- in both real and virtual desktop environments: application performance, desktop performance, and user productivity. Coupled with advanced analytics capabilities, the Aternity FPI Platform arms customers and partners with the breakthrough ability to generate comprehensive Frontline Performance Intelligence from enterprise applications within days. Proactive IT enterprises are leveraging a Frontline Performance Intelligence strategy, based on Aternity's platform, to drive strategic IT and business initiatives such as preemptive problem detection, probable cause analysis, informed capacity planning, application licensing optimization, and desktop virtualization management and orchestration.
