NEW YORK and LAKE FOREST, Calif., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- FutureTrade, a leading independent provider of electronic equity and option execution services, announced today the latest upgrade to its popular trading platform, FutureTrade Version 3.0. FutureTrade has introduced five new features designed to further enhance the ease and functionality of the platform, with specific applications introduced for the equities and options trading.
"As the popularity in electronic trading grows, traders continue to seek tools and functionality that will enable them to execute their trades more efficiently," said Mr. Jim Kwiatkowski, Executive Vice President of FutureTrade. "By working directly with our users to develop these new features, we have been able to implement sophisticated functionality that not only complements our existing platform but easily integrates with a trader's existing workflow without introducing complexity allowing traders to maximize their trading decisions."
Version 3.0 upgrades include:
* List trading/staging strategies -- Equity traders can create tickets
manually or import lists via file import from popular applications like
MS Excel. Single tickets and lists can also be sent from popular Order
Management Systems (OMS) including Charles River Development,
Macgregor, Eze Castle Beauchamp, InfoReach for staging or execution.
Additional capabilities include sophisticated list management
strategies as well as risk management and compliance functionality.
* Symbol based order preferences -- Equity traders now have the ability
to set their preferences by symbol for order quantity, execution venue
and order type including algorithmic order types. With this
functionality, traders can enter new orders with the confidence that
their typical instructions will be in place for that stock.
* Spreads Functionality -- Option enhancements include the ability for
traders to send spread orders to the ISE. Users can also click
directly on a price and have it automatically populate entry fields in
the spread panel, make any modifications and then enter the order as a
leg of the spread order.
* Sweeps Functionality -- Options traders can now enter multiple single
orders at one time when hitting the bid or taking the offers accessing
available liquidity from the five major options exchanges.
* New Web Allocations -- FutureTrade's Web allocations tools have been
enhanced making them easier and faster to use. Users can now select
multiple trades to allocate at the same time or allocate trades using
several methods including percentages.
