XAware announced the introduction of a QuickStart program designed to help companies take the first step toward building composite data services for service-oriented architecture (SOA), rich Internet applications (RIA) and software-as-a-service (SaaS) projects.
Despite the urgency and hype around SOA, RIA and SaaS, many companies experience challenges related to accessing and managing data from disparate sources. Without accurate real-time data, SOA, RIA and SaaS projects will never realize their full potential. The XAware QuickStart program, which includes training, consulting services and an initial period of active support from the XAware team, will help companies begin the process of creating and managing the composite data services that will be the foundation for successful SOA, RIA and SaaS initiatives.
"Tens of thousands of developers around the world have begun using XAware this year and many of them are now anxious to take the next step, which is building data services that will support their enterprise efforts," said Bill Miller, executive chairman and CTO of XAware. "Our QuickStart program delivers the first critical step in that process. It's one of the fastest, most cost-effective ways to start experiencing the productivity and operational benefits of SOA, RIA and SaaS, and it also produces reusable data services that can be leveraged time and time again for all future initiatives."
XAware's open source data integration software allows organizations to access and integrate data to and from any source. Composite data services built by XAware provide real-time access to information and the ability to abstract, transform, aggregate and mashup data. XAware 5.1 is available for free use under the GPLv2 license and additionally via a commercial license. Service, including support and commercial subscriptions, are also available for purchase from XAware.
