Novell’s EMEA Boss Changed
Javier Colado now president of EMEA

Novell is moving the furniture around again. It is replacing Volker Smid, who has been president of EMEA for the last two years, with Javier Colado, currently VP and general manager of partners, reporting to CEO Ron Hovsepian.

Smid, as they say, is leaving to "pursue other interests."

Colado's current job will transition at some point to Novell's marketing organization and report to John Dragoon, the company's chief marketing officer.

Colado joined Novell in 2006 as area general manager and vice-president for EMEA, responsible for all operations, sales and marketing.
