M/C Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused exclusively on the
communications, media, and information technology sectors, announced
that David Ingraham and Edmund Kim have been promoted to the position of
Vice President from Senior Associate.
In their new roles, David and Edmund will be responsible for all aspects
of sourcing and managing investments in the media and communications
industry segments and will continue to work to extend M/C Venture
Partners’ strong, 26-year franchise.

David Ingraham
David Ingraham focuses on investments in a variety of media and
communications industry segments, including alternative advertising,
marketing services, information services, new and traditional media, and
collocation services. At M/C, David has completed investments in the
collocation services and out-of-home advertising industries, including
M/C portfolio company AccentHealth, where he serves on the Board of
Directors.
Prior to joining M/C Venture Partners in 2006, David worked at Veronis
Suhler Stevenson (VSS), a media-focused private equity fund in New York
with over $1 billion under management. While at VSS, Mr. Ingraham worked
on investments in the yellow pages, publishing and information services
industries.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Skidmore College
and his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Edmund Kim
Edmund Kim focuses on investments in the media and communications
industry segments, including digital and traditional media, broadband
services, wireless infrastructure, and wireless services. At M/C, Edmund
completed a number of transactions, including the acquisition of DataNet
Communications by Lightower, a digital fiber network, and Public Mobile,
which acquired wireless spectrum in the recent Canadian auction to offer
unlimited wireless services in Canada.
Prior to joining M/C Venture Partners in 2007, Edmund worked in the
investment banking group at Merrill Lynch in Toronto. Edmund graduated
from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce and
Finance and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
