Designers at Randall-Paulson Architects Earn LEED-AP Professional Designation for Energy-Efficient Design
ROSWELL, Ga. – David Krogh, Don Buschert, Heather Anderson, Lauren Harper, Marcus Mello and Peter Jamieson, architectural and interior designers at Randall-Paulson Architects, the award winning Roswell-based architectural firm, recently earned their LEED AP accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
LEED or Leadership in Energy and Environmental design –– promotes the Green Building Rating System developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), which provides standards for environmentally sustainable construction and has more than 10,000 membership organizations.
Alex Paulson, AIA, Principal at Randall-Paulson Architects, said LEED accredited building designers and contractors will dominate the industry within the next few years.
“Since its inception in 1998, the LEED program has grown to encompass more than 22,000 projects in 50 states and 91 countries,” Paulson said.
“Most people in the design, construction and lending industries understand the critical importance of reducing carbon emissions and building more energy-efficient environmentally sustainable structures,” Paulson said.
