Virtualization and provisioning software provider FastScale
Technology has unveiled an end-to-end server software management application
for enterprise class data centers and web farms.
It said FastScale Composer Suite 2.0 features include
increased scalability with improved user interface, configuration management,
and expanded reporting. It offers support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and
VMware ESX Server 3.5. The release follows the launch last August of the
FastScale Virtual Manager addition to its Composer Suite.
Lynn Leblanc, chief executive at FastScale said:
"End-to-end automation has always been our goal with FastScale Composer
Suite. The enhancements in FastScale Composer Suite 2.0 are key to ensuring a
robust software virtualization and provisioning solution and complete
automation of the software infrastructure, whether our customers are managing
200 servers or 5,000 or more."
